The new hero of Apex Legends, which will seemingly be launched in the next season, is called Belva!
The upcoming season of Apex Legends will feature a new hero in the form of Belva. This new information has come through a leak. At the moment, the game already has as many as 26 characters, including some really popular ones like Ash, Wraith and Alter. For a long time, fans have been wanting to see a greater number of playable characters in the game. This demand reflects the fact that the game is coming across as dull to some fans. Finally, it seems that Respawn Entertainment, the developer behind Apex Legends, is ready to introduce fresh characters in the game.

Fans would know that a new hero was introduced in the game in Season 21. The new hero launched this season was Alter. While the character received a mixed response initially, fans eventually warmed up to him. What fans felt disappointed about was that no new character was introduced in the subsequent seasons. The developer seems to have been aware of this and this new step, if true, is a result of identifying this pain point.
Osvaldatore, a leaker who has brought a lot of important information about the game to the fore in the past, ended up posting the full trailer of Season 25 on Twitter. If we go by the Prodigy Anthem video, which has been shared by the leaker, Belva will come equipped with a kit revolving around the theme of archery. This kit, among other things, will provide the character with scanning and stunning abilities. The leaker has also offered further information about the identity of this new hero. As per the leaker, the hero is an Italian and goes by the nickname Sparrow. The hero’s full name, according to the leaker, is Giuseppe Belva.

Fans, who have had a look at the overall design of Belva, are not too happy with the way it has shaped up. According to them, this design is bereft of creativity. Some fans are of the opinion that it bears a resemblance to Apex Legends’ Mirage. Despite the criticism, one can sense that fans are quite happy to see the game getting a new playable character after a period of one year.
Fans have a lot of expectations for the upcoming season of Apex Legends. A while back, Andrew Wilson, who serves as the CEO of Electronic Arts, stated that Apex Legends would play an important role in expanding the game. That, as we know now, did not happen. While a few game modes were introduced, one did not witness anything important happening on that front. Once the new season arrives, one will get a better idea about how the studio plans to update the game and take it ahead.
