Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus Jet White editions are popular rumors at the moment.
A random person has managed to get these phones giving us an idea of how it would look in a video posted on Twitter.
The Jet Black which features a matte finish on the current generation iPhone models was an instant hit among buyers. They feel nice to hold, has a decent grip and looks great without any protective cases on top of it. It is the first time Apple experimented with this new material and color. Following the success, rumors became afloat that the company is planning to launch a new Jet White color variant in 2017.
People just couldn’t wait for the company to officially announce the color variant. According to 9to5Mac, Sonny Dickson took the privilege of showing the Jet White iPhone 7 and the Jet White iPhone 7 Plus variants. A short video clip has been posted online giving us a decent preview of what to expect with the new phone. In order to avoid copyright issues, they probably choose to remove the original Apple logo on the phone. However, it also reduces the authenticity of the device by giving us a plain white slab rather than the premium product we are used to.
Another big question is the video could simply show a cheap Chinese case that is available for the current Jet Black editions. The authenticity is much higher on the video but unless we can see it in person, it is difficult to confirm whether the phone shown online comes from a genuine source. Apple as always never comments on such speculations and will talk about the phone during the actual launch date. Adding a color variant is no big deal for the company and they would do so if they find enough people interested in it.
Based on recent speculation, we also know that Apple is getting ready to launch new models before iPhone 8. The new models will sport slightly improved specifications and different designs, probably with a revised camera for better pictures. The Jet White edition of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus could possibly be launched along with the rumored 5-inch 2017 Apple iPhone.
With the year coming to a close, it won’t be long before we get more solid updates from reliable sources. The announcement is expected to take place in the first half of 2017, in March or April. Meanwhile, Tim Cook has also confirmed they do have plans to refresh the Macintosh desktop computers real soon.
