Apple iPhone 7 Plus was launched last month and up to now, the jet black color variant has been quite a hard model to come by.
The iPhone 7 was launched in five different color options that include silver, gold and rose gold alongside the debuting black and jet black variants. While it has been quite an easy task to grab yourself a silver variant of the iPhone 7 Plus, the story has been a lot different when it comes to the jet black variant.
Probably it is because many iPhone 7 Plus buyers are excited with the new color variant and as such, the demand outran the supply. But this is no more as Apple has done enough to try and solve the problem, although there are still shortages. Apparently, you can walk into most Apple retail shops across the U.S. and bump into a jet black variant of the iPhone 7 Plus.
Whether it is just the demand for the jet black variant or the iPhone 7 Plus in general that is rising is still hard to tell. However, it is possible given that new perks that Apple added to the phone – perks that are led by the magnificent dual-lens 12MP camera on the back of the flagship.
Those living in Chicago, Miami, New York, Phoenix, San Francisco and San Diego, among other areas, can be sure of getting a new jet black variant of the iPhone 7 Plus in Apple Stores. The report further notes that the availability of the phone is dependent on the color, carrier as well as storage capacity. As far as the latter is concerned, there are reports of shortages for the 128GB variant, but the high-end variant is up there for grabs.
As the busy holiday shopping season draws closer, Apple appears poised to ensure that there won’t be any iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus shortages whatsoever, especially now that its closest rival, Samsung Galaxy Note 7, is no more.
