We still have a few weeks before the typical release date for new Apple iPhones is here and as expected, the iPhone 8 is on the list of devices fans are expecting this year.
The phone has been in the rumor mills for quite some time now. In fact, a lot about the phone has been said and if anything, the only major thing remaining is for Apple to take the wraps off this 2017 iPhone. Earlier this month, images of the alleged iPhone 8 appeared in three color variants of shiny black, pearl and a copper-like finish. Now, new reports have emerged with what will be the name of this copper-esque hue.
Apparently, the Apple iPhone 8 is getting a new color finish dubbed Blush Gold. Other sections have claimed that this Blush Gold name is being used internally to refer to this particular color variant, with others still adamant that the eventual name will be Copper Gold.
Despite the uncertainties, it has been established that the iPhone 8 will not get the typical Rose Gold color variant that we’ve seen on many iPhones, instead, this variant will be replaced by the new Blush Gold. Other than the iPhone 8, this new color variant will also appear on the iPhone 7S and 7S Plus, which are expected to make their debut alongside the new high-end model. Further reports claim that this Blush Gold color variant will only be available on with two storage options of 64GB and 128GB.
Previous reports have indicated that the iPhone 8 will be priced at a whopping $1000 or even more depending on your location and variant. As it is, the phone will only be available in small quantities of between 2 million and 4 million at launch, with more units expected to be available in early 2018.
Apple is expected to unveil the new iPhone series this coming month of September, but we don’t have a specific date just yet.
