Assassin’s Creed Origins by Ubisoft is going to get launched later this year.
As the company promised earlier, they are providing a whole new face to the world of Ezio and Altair.
Probably, these two iconic characters from the series may not make their way into the upcoming animated series but it is great to know that Assassin’s Creed is indeed going to be made into an anime series. The news was confirmed by the actual person behind it, named Adi Shankar who holds records for making some memorable work in the past.
For most people, Adi Shankar may be a little-known name but for fans of Castlevania, he is familiar. He is already working on the animated series based on the game which is getting launched on Netflix this week and he will soon be really busy. In his social media page, he announced that Ubisoft has approached him and signed a deal to create an anime like series based on the characters and the world created for Assassin’s Creed.
The person is known for his creative work and considering the name some of the best characters have made in the game, he would most probably consider making his own character to live in the anime world. After all, trying to follow the storyline that Ezio already did in three different games may not be so fun to watch as a series.
A difficult decision to make at this point is that he didn’t confirm whether they are going to go full anime with Assassin’s Creed just like Dragon Ball Z or Naruto. It could even be a cartoon series just like the famous Avatar and many other series that has a huge fan following around the globe. When AC series gets the anime treatment, it provides the creator a huge scope to expand and tell a story they were never able to tell in the game.
When it comes to creating a game, developers have to focus on offering challenging levels, obstacles combined with a story that would captivate their audience. However, an anime is passive entertainment where you don’t interact with anything but simply allow the story teller to push your creative limits while he would take the narration in his or her own style. Assassin’s Creed anime could be a Netflix exclusive or possibly on a different network but it should definitely be as good as the upcoming Castlevania series, we hope so!
