While the majority of the gaming community is busy focusing on Assassin’s Creed Origins with its two new exploration modes, the average player should rejoice as the Ubisoft team has fixed a lot of bugs to make the game more enjoyable with update 1.30
The latest update version 1.30 is officially rolled out to the game on all platforms including PS4, Xbox One,and PC. The highlight of this update is that it adds some interesting new game modes to the game and allows players to explore the fantastic world the Assassin’s Creed team has created. The first game mode is New Game+ which allows players to start the entire game from the first level but everything that you have saved so far including achievements, unlocked weapons, skills, and outfits.
The idea behind this New Game+ mode is to allow you to experience the demanding world of Egypt while retaining all the skills and powers you have acquired so far. There is a catch though as players should complete the entire story campaign before they can start all over again and play it with improved weapons. You can also consider setting the game difficulty to the highest as with so many abilities, it is easier to take down enemies in this game mode.
Ubisoft is also proud of the exciting and authentic ancient Egypt they have created. While Assassin’s Creed games have always been authentic in recreating the renaissance among other timelines, this time the developers want you to explore the entire world free of conflict. The Discovery Tour allows players to leisurely walk through the tombs, pyramids and every other place in Egypt without having to fight enemies or follow a certain path set in the single-player campaign.
Apart from being able to freely explore the map in Assassin’s Creed Origins, you can also choose to pick one of the dozens of guided tours created by the developers in association with archeologists and tour guides. All Origins owners will receive the Discovery Tour for free while PC gamers and teachers can choose to purchase the tour as a standalone pack without the game so as to use it for educational purposes. When you buy it on Uplay, you get access to the maps but no abilities or missions will be playable in it.
Assassin’s Creed Origins Update 1.30 weighs in at approximately 5.5 gigabytes on Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4. You can check out the full changelog here to know the long list of bugs they fixed.
