Asus is about to launch the new Zenfone 4 Selfie and the Selfie Pro models.
The names are apt for these smartphones which focuses on the concept of selfies and aim to provide a rich user experience that selfie lovers can rely on.
For the first time, probably because no other smartphone manufacturer had the idea to integrate a dual front camera yet to take amazing selfies. The phone not only features a dual camera setup in the front but is even equipped with a flash so that it is easy to capture those moments in darkly lit conditions. The specifications and images have leaked online much earlier to the official reveal.
Asus officially calls the Zenfone 4 selfie with the model number ZD553KL while the Selfie Pro comes with the serial number ZD552KL. The Zenfone 4 Pro is a completely different variant and it doesn’t have anything to do with this model because it is all about the selfie speciality features that is going to set it apart from the competitors.

Hold your breath because the camera specifications are sure to blow your mind off! The Selfie Pro model features a massive 24 megapixel front camera combined with a 5 megapixel secondary camera which will provide the much needed depth in your photographs. Both cameras can cover 120 degrees in front of them providing a wide view which comes in handy for group selfies. It also has a flash in the front apart from the usual flash light provided in the rear end of most smartphones. The rear camera is surprisingly not so special because it is not dual and is just 16 megapixel that clearly shows Asus engineers focused mostly on the front.
The metal casing in moderately sized phone looks premium in the photos. It sports a 5.5-inch display with 1080p AMOLED display for the Pro model. The entry level model features a not so impressive 720p display with IPS LCD display. If you are happy with the price tag and the downgraded features, it shouldn’t be a problem to go with the entry model. Both phones have 4GB RAM, 64 GB storage space and 3,000 mAh battery. It sports a dual SIM setup and is powered by the Snapdragon 430 chipset in the Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie. The Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro is much better as it has a Snapdragon 625 processor.
The Zenfone 4 Selfie will cost about €300 whereas the Selfie Pro will cost €400.
