ASUS ZenFone Pegasus 3S Launched with 5000mAh Battery and Android Nougat Out of the Box – Price Details

ASUS ZenFone Pegasus 3S

Many people would look at the battery capacity of a phone before buying it. This is usually because no one wants a phone that will last less than a few hours on a single charge, instead, it would be a plus if the phone can last even two or more days without the need for a power source.

This is what ASUS ZenFone Pegasus 3S is bringing to you with its huge 5000mAh battery capacity. The phone comes in to replace the ZenFone Pegasus 3 that was launched and released in China a little over half a year ago. The Pegasus 3S predecessor came in with a decent high-end design and packed an impressive 4100mAh battery unit.

But rather than wait until June 2017, the Taiwanese company has moved in swiftly with an updated version of last year’s release and called it the ASUS ZenFone Pegasus 3S. In addition to coming in with a huge 5000mAh battery unit, the Pegasus 3S has quite an impressive set of features on offer as well.

You will definitely love the premium-built metallic unibody design of the phone and despite being a midrange offering, the phone has a fingerprint scanner mounted on the home button. The ASUS ZenFone Pegasus 3S has a screen size of 5.2 inches and an HD resolution (1280 x 720 pixels), but you get a nifty design that features a curved 2.5D glass on top. Under the hood, the ZenFone Pegasus 3S has a MediaTek MT6750 processor, an octa-core chipset that is paired with a RAM of 3GB. There are two storage options of 32GB and 64GB, both with room for microSD card storage of up to 2TB.

In terms of cameras, the phone has a 13MP snapper on the back which promises great photos thanks to the inclusion of PDAF and dual-tone LED flash. As for the selfie camera, you get an 8MP snapper. As noted earlier, the Pegasus 3S packs an impressive 5000mAh battery with support for fast charging technology. Software-wise, the latest Android Nougat powers the phone out of the box.

Like many other midrange phones, the ASUS ZenFone Pegasus 3S comes with support for all the latest connectivity standards, including 4G LTE, VoLTE, Bluetooth as well as Wi-Fi, among others.

If you want to grab yourself one of these Pegasus 3S models, you will have to part with about $288 for the high-end model of 64GB, but there are still no pricing details regarding the 32GB model.
