LG V20 was announced at the beginning of last month and a month later, the phablet is finally available for pre-orders on America’s AT&T carrier.
This comes after the company had remained coy on the pricing matters when the phone was unveiled back in September. While the phone has since launched in its home country of South Korea, it is today that those in the U.S. and are users of AT&T can pre-order an LG V20 flagship for $830. The phone has been listed on the carrier’s Next installment plan, meaning you can still get it on a 24-months or 30-months plan.
As far as the 24-month plan is concerned, AT&T Next Every Year will be selling the LG V20 for a fee of $34.59 per month. As for the 30-month plan, you get an AT&T Next installation plan of $27.67 per month.
The coming of the LG V20 to AT&T means that the carrier now joins the first carrier to make the announcement – T-Mobile. Like the latter, AT&T has also confirmed that the V20 will start shipping from October 28. Unlike AT&T, there are still no clear pricing details of the phone sold through T-Mobile.
In addition to the LG V20, there are a number of promos that are set to come alongside the flagship. Subscribers of DIRECTv or UVerse that will make a switch from another carrier to any AT&T Next plan will be rewarded with $695 in monthly bill credits. If you sign up for a 2-year agreement and purchase the LG V20 via the said AT&T Next plans, you should be able to get an LG G Pad X 10.1 for just $0.99.
LG is notorious for taking longer between the time they announce phones and the time they are made available for purchase. The LG G5 was announced in February but was released in April. The story is the same with the LG V20, which was announced early September and will start selling towards the end of October.
