Battlefield 1 Will Get New Custom Mode on Jan 18, Improvement Patch Planned

Battlefield 1

Electronic Arts and DICE are going to make Battlefield 1 even better in 2017 with another official custom mode in January.

A new performance improvement patch is heading to the game next month.

Battlefield 1

Set during the World War I, Battlefield 1 is a roaring success for publishers EA and the development team at DICE. They had multiple successful launches in the past but this new game had the least bug issue and is going on a strong note since day one. The team introduced the concept of official custom games, just like the ones in Overwatch and Counter Strike Global Offensive. They change the gameplay drastically and such a new approach in the Battlefield series was loved by most, says the company.

Further expanding their collection of modes, a new custom Rush mode will roll out on January 18th. The mode will be very challenging and is designed for hardcore BF fans. When you try to capture points, you will find that soldiers who are supposed to be down for long will respawn quickly. It keeps the battle intense like never before because enemy soldiers will be coming back and forth to make sure you don’t hold any points for long. Another hardcore feature is that the regenerative health system will be turned off, ensures there are no campers and quick deaths will occur more often than a conventional Rush match.

With just a week to go, we can’t wait to play and see how challenging the new custom Rush mode is. DICE also confirmed that they are working on a big patch for Battlefield 1. It will bring in significant performance improvements to the game. They will roll it out in the month of February. A lot of changes included in the patch is collected from feedback and suggestions made by thousands of players worldwide. A full change log will be released when the patch is officially out on PC, PS4 and Xbox One platforms.

Battlefield 1 They Shall Not Pass

The updates seem to never end as it will continue into the month of March with the first DLC expansion pack, They Shall Not Pass. In their official Battlefield page, it has been announced that there are more exciting details to be announced with regards to the DLC. Battlefield 1 season pass owners will receive 14 superior battlepacks and have access to a total of four expansion packs with five maps each. It includes They Shall Not Pass scheduled to get launched in March.
