The leaked footage of Battlefield 6 showcases a variety of elements, including gunplay and gameplay mechanics.

After the latest playtest sessions for Battlefield Labs members came through, Battlefield 6 alpha gameplay footage has leaked online. Electronic Arts, after the launch of the program in the month of February, utilized Battlefield Labs as a platform to receive feedback on gameplay changes and other adjustments that could be made while putting together Battlefield 6.

The development team behind Battlefield 6 comprises DICE, Criterion, EA Motive, and Ripple Effect. So far, this is the biggest development team the studio has assembled for a game. At the moment, the team is working towards developing a plethora of new features and other content pieces. The Battlefield Labs program gives players the opportunity to try out or test several concepts during the early development stage of the game.

Battlefield fans are handed out new Battlefield Labs invites quite regularly and provided with the opportunity to be a part of the program after signing a non-disclosure agreement or an NDA. Signing NDAs, however, has not come in the way of users leaking footage pertaining to Battlefield 6.

An X user, who goes by the handle @alisaad40002, (which is now deleted), leaked some gameplay footage pertaining to the Battlefield 6 alpha playtest. This leak offers a glimpse of the destruction in Battlefield 6. It also introduces one to the gameplay mechanics, updated user interface and animations.

At the moment, it seems that Battlefield 6 will make fans revisit the roots or origin of the game with the help of squad-based Conquest modes featuring high player counts and classes like Assault and Support. One also comes across footage of dogfights in fighter jets hovering over the ‘Capstone’ map. It must be mentioned that this footage does not serve as a final representation of Battlefield 6. When the game finally gets launched in the 2026 fiscal year of EA, one should expect changes or alterations to be made to it.

A while back, a publication had hinted at the changes one could get to see in the next Battlefield game. Along with revamped recoil patterns, the publication stated the game would feature improved gunplay and movement animations. While using the gun, players are expected to benefit from better firing adjustments. Leaks, which came to the fore in March, hinted towards the much-talked-about 3D spotting feature making a comeback through Battlefield 6.
