LG G5 is one of the hottest smartphones in 2016 and in fact, it is the most feared by Samsung with respect to the Galaxy S7. The two are expected to fierce rivals in this year’s flagship market; however, Samsung already has an edge as its device is available for sale at the time of this writing.
U.S. Cellular revealed that it will be availing the LG G5 for sale starting April 1, something that seems to be materializing as more and more players keep joining the G5 preorder party. This follows the clearance of the phone by FCC and the fact that it has been seen in several stores including B&H and Carphone Warehouse.
The phone will be making its way to the U.S. through a number of channels. With several carriers poised to come in with deals for this phone, Best Buy has moved in swiftly to offer the LG G5 to U.S. customers who are ready to preorder the flagship through a carrier, to be more specific, AT&T and Sprint. There is even more as the deal will also include a $100 gift card as well as a number of accessories worth $90.
Best Buy LG G5 preorder program already late
Initially, it was planned that the Best Buy LG G5 preorder program at AT&T and Sprint begin on March 18. However, it is only Sprint that has managed to make the device available through Best Buy. The LG G5 carries a price tag of $99.99 on a two-year agreement, which is $100 less than the usual price on two-year agreements.
As of those using AT&T, they will be able to preorder the LG G5 “soon” for a monthly fee of $22.97 for 30 months. This is only available on the carrier’s Next agreement. Best Buy will be adding a $100 gift card on top of this as well as include a replacement battery, a USB Type-C to micro-USB adapter as well as a charging cradle all valued at $90, but for free. The Best Buy bundle also includes Verizon users; however, preorders on the leading network in the country will start on March 24.
