Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Runs Great on PS4 Pro, Pro Tournament Scheduled for Dec 3

Call of Duty Infinite Warfare

A lot of newly launched AAA titles and exclusives run just ok on the PS4 Pro console in 4K resolution.

Surprisingly, the newly launched Call of Duty Infinite Warfare runs so well on the new hardware even though it uses a lot of different technology to maintain a steady framerate.

Call of Duty on PS4 Pro

The PS4 Pro console promised great 4K visuals with the help of a checkerboard implementation. It continues to change resolution from 1080p to 980p among others in order to maintain a playable frame rate. The campaign mode on Call of Duty Infinite Warfare is just awesome despite the negative criticism it received before the official launch. It is like any Hollywood blockbuster movie with lots of explosions, great set pieces and new worlds set in the space.

In order to provide a more visually appealing experience, the developers of Call of Duty Infinite Warfare went for an increased resolution that delivers about 40 to 60 frames per second. Maintaining any game at the coveted 60 frames per second is a big deal for most game developers. However, by compromising slightly in this regard, the people behind Infinite Warfare has managed to make the game look great. The multiplayer version however is much better and runs really good at a solid 60 FPS. The multiplayer version primarily uses 1560p checkerboard render and some area of the game does true 2160p 4K resolution.

The change in pixel count is impossible to find especially when you are lost amidst all the action. Call of Duty Infinite Warfare is an easy buy on the PS4 Pro console if you are looking forward to experience the immersive visuals and action it offers. Meanwhile, the team has managed to host their first Pro tournament scheduled to take place on December 3rd.

Call of Duty Infinite Warfare

Entering the eSports arena, Infinite Warfare is expected to create a new benchmark in the zone dominated by Counter Strike Global Offensive. It is part of the Playstation Experience and is being presided over by Sony. The event will be streamed live on Call of Duty’s official channels on both MLG.tv and Twitch. You can take part in the action irrespective of your location by watching the events live and cheering for your favorite team. The new game is such a strikingly new experiment in the first person shooter genre when compared to Black Ops 3 and its success can be determined only when the event takes place next month. If fans love it, it’s going to be in the esports scene for a long time.
