As the official release dates of the Google Pixel and Pixel XL phones draws even closer than ever, the search engine giant has been showing flashes of its determination to make the Pixel lineup a huge success in the smartphone industry.
The Google Pixel and Pixel XL are a new chapter in the company’s hardware department and all throughout its ads and promotions, the focus has been on marketing the devices as made by Google. The Pixel phones have even been bundled with an exclusive feature that will see every owner of the phone able to access 24/7 customer support services from wherever they are.
It has been noted that HTC is the one behind the making of the Google Pixel and Pixel XL. Even though neither Google nor HTC has confirmed this claim, the fact that the search engine giant has assigned HTC the duties of servicing its Indian units of the Pixel phones is enough to justify the claim.
India is one of the hottest smartphone markets in the world right now and it is every company’s dream to have a major stay in the market. With Google looking to push the Pixel and Pixel XL deeper into all possible markets, the decision to assign HTC the after-sales services is huge and a welcome idea for those in India. This is true because HTC has more than 56 walk-in service centers across more than 30 Indian cities, something that makes them quite easily accessible.
Just recently, Flipkart availed the Google Pixel and Pixel XL for pre-orders and apparently, the phones will also be sold through a number of major chain stores in the country, among them Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, Jumbo, Croma, Spice Mobility, and more than 1000 other retail stores.
