Samsung Galaxy J5 2017 is one of the three Galaxy J 2017 series phones that are expected to be released in the coming days.
The phone has been appearing in rumor mills for a while now and in fact, most of the details regarding the expected hardware specs and features have already been leaked. What simply remains is for Sammy to release the Galaxy J5 2017 alongside the Galaxy J3 2017 and Galaxy J7 2017.
But before this actually happens, we have details of what the Galaxy J5 2017 will cost when it lands in Europe or Germany for that matter. According to notable tipster and WinFuture’s Roland Quandt, the South Korean company will start shipping the Galaxy J5 2017 in Europe as from June 22. This is three weeks from now and so far, it will set you back an impressive €279.
The phone has been confirmed in three color variants of blue, gold and black. Even though not everything has been mentioned with respect to the hardware specs of the Galaxy J5 2017 in question, the tipster has given as an early look at some of the core specs of the phone.
As expected, the Galaxy J5 2017 will come in with a decent 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display screen, but unlike some rumors had pointed out, the company will stick to an HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. Under the hood, the J5 2017 will ship with a Samsung-made Exynos 7870 octa-core processor clocked at a speed of 1.6GHz and possibly paired with a 2GB RAM. These are the same performance specs found on the Galaxy A3 2017 that was released earlier in the year.

Software-wise, Samsung Galaxy J5 2017 will debut with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Even though the selfie shooter hasn’t been mentioned, the tipster confirms that the main camera will be a 13MP lens. To store your files, the J5 2017 will give you 16GB of internal space, which will be supported by a microSD card slot.
In Europe, the Galaxy J5 2017 will come with support for dual-SIM connectivity.
