Best Buy has a great deal on the newly released Google Home. Announced alongside the Google Pixel, Assistant and Google Wi-Fi, this device is priced at $129 via the Google Store, but the giant retailer has a great Black Friday 2016 discount for you.
The Google Home usually goes for $129, but Best Buy, just like any other retailer out there, has an amazing Black Friday 2016 deal that takes off a solid $30, meaning you only need $99 to have this device. Like any other place you buy the Google Home, the Best Buy purchase will also earn you free access to YouTube Red for a period of six months, after which you will have to subscribe to the service for a fee or opt out. YouTube Red is simply a version of the video sharing app that has no ads.
In case you are wondering what Google Home really is, well, this is Google’s attempt to compete for the home space with Amazon Echo. The latter has Alexa, a digital assistant that enables it handle a variety of queries and tasks, but on the other hand, the Google Home has the new Assistant on board that offers just about the same services. With this device, you can easily control a number of interconnected devices in the home, be it Google Nest, Chromecast, among others.
Black Friday 2016 doesn’t begin until November 25th, but Best Buy has the deal running as from Thursday, November 24 to Saturday, November 26. Given the rush that is usually seen on Black Friday shopping days, you should be lucky to get this deal, otherwise, you may end up paying the usual $129 in order to get yourself a new Google Home.
