Though the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus models have been the latest launch from Apple, the company had marked a milestone when it released its iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models.

The long-standing 4-inch screen size that is native to the previous iPhone models was increased to 4.7-inches on the iPhone 6 and to 5.5-inches on the iPhone 6 Plus. At the time of the iPhone 6 launch, there were many people who were quite skeptical about the new size of the smartphone, but Apple had worked well on its features and made the transition from iPhone 5s to iPhone 6 a smooth process.

Crafty Coder Reveals Hidden One-Handed Keyboard Mode

Recently, a developer, Steve Troughton-Smith, who was messing around with the iOS Simulator, had made a revelation about a hidden iOS code. Since then the internet seems to have gone into a frenzy with all types of news articles carry the shocking discovery. The developer has claimed that he has found a one-handed mode that has been hidden inside the iOS code, which he says has been allegedly there since the launch of iOS 8. According to the developer, the hidden mode will offer a new layout for the keys and will necessarily allow the users to type on the keyboard of the iPhone devices with just one hand. The users can now customize the keys on the keyboard that can be oriented either on the left or right directions and adjust the keyboard to fit onto the side of the user’s dominant hand. The developer also pointed out that this hidden feature can be activated by just a simple swipe from the side to across the keyboard.

The developer had posted pictures and videos regarding the keyboard hack. The pictures and videos had shown that there are options for the basic functions of cut, copy, and paste on the user’s dominant hand side of the keyboard. The coder had also provided basic instructions on how to enable the hidden one-handed keyboard mode. However, these instructions can be used only if the iPhone device is jailbroken.
