This particular information about the comeback of the Moonfire Faire came to the fore a few days after Final Fantasy 14 Patch 7.05 was launched. The introduction of the Cenote Ja Ja Gural treasure dungeon was one of the most important aspects of this content update. It also marked the arrival of the Arcadion’s first Savage raid tier and Job Balance updates. Some of the notable Job changes that were made include the reworks to the core rotation of the Viper and significant adjustments to the Black Mage. A lot of it was done as a result of the feedback given by players.
After the launch of the 7.05 content update, Final Fantasy 14 shared its plans for the first event of Dawntrail. This is one event which players had been keenly looking forward to. As per the information shared by Square Enix, the Moonfire Faire will commence on Thursday, August 8, at 4:00 AM Eastern and come to an end on Monday, August 26, at 10:59 AM Eastern.

If a player wishes to be a part of the festivities, they will have to accept the level 30 quest “Fire Red, Beast Green” in the Upper Decks of Limsa Lominsa by conversing with a Lalafell NPC referred to as Mayaru Moyaru. The quest is designed to take players to Costa del Sol in Eastern La Noscea where they can put their jumping skills to the test by trying out the traditional Eorzean Nimble Warrior obstacle course.
