The developers of Fornite, Epic is very excited right now as their game hit a massive 3.4 million concurrent users bringing it on par with its nearest competitor, PUBG.
Things are about to get more competitive as they are going to bring the 50v50 event back to PS4, Xbox One consoles with lots of new things to look forward to.
When the massive 100 player Battle Royale mode for Fornite was introduced on the consoles in the month of December last year, players were visibly excited as the battles were too good to be true. There were obviously a couple of issues that deterred them from having the optimal experience. Epic has confirmed that they are about to bring the free mode back to everyone and lots of changes to balance the game in many ways.
Based on the statement made by the team, it is understood that they will be holding the 50v50 mode in different limited-time mode. The event is about to begin in a month’s time and there is no word on which one of the five events will be held next month. When it does, you will finally be able to bring all friends onboard and invite even new ones to join you. After all, the game is free to download and Battle Royale gives you a sneak peek of what lies in the PvE mode available in Fornite.

A limited-time Blitz mode will be held which will save time as the map will shrink at a much faster pace. Those who are lurking in the corner may not have much time to escape if they don’t choose to take down enemies. For many who wants to quickly get into a match and go out, this seems like a great mode to check out.
In other modes, players can expect to form groups between different teams instead of playing solo in those large 50 versus 50 matches. The teams and squads will be comprised of four different players. They can choose to stick together or split throughout the map taking down enemies wherever possible. The team that survives the Battle Royale round will be crowned victorious and it is much easier than having to fight for your survival alone against 99 other players.
Epic is also about to turn on 60 FPS for Fortnite on Xbox One and PS4 consoles. It was expected that the higher frame rate may only be on Xbox One X and PlayStation 4 Pro consoles but they have managed to bring it to the base consoles as well.
