Epic Games, through a recently shared post on X, confirmed that players can now “vote to surrender” to bring a match to an end in the Ballistic mode. For the uninitiated, Ballistic happens to be a first-person team-based shooter mode wherein a group of players is designated to be the attackers. The opposing side is made to act as the defenders.
In December 2024, the fresh game mode entered early access. Since then, Epic Games has been working constantly towards bringing fresh content to the fore. One must, however, not overlook the fact that several players have expressed their grievances over the state of matchmaking in the Ballistic mode. Many players have even stated that lopsided games greatly hamper the experience of playing a game. It is important to remember that the vote needs to be unanimous for one to be able to surrender to an opposing team in Ballistic.
