Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra, 15S Pro to House the Manufacturer’s Xring O1 Processor

Xiaomi will unveil the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra and 15S Pro to hold a launch event in its home country on the 22nd of this month, along with a slew of offerings.

One of the key highlights of this smartphone and tablet is the chipset under their hoods. They will be the first offerings from the manufacturer to house the brand’s in-house Xring O1 processor.

Xring O1 Processor

The Xring O1 processor is currently under mass production. Its design is based on a 3 nm process by TSMC. According to a Geekbench listing, the processor scores 3119 points in the single-core test and 9673 points in the multi-core test. It will deliver flagship performance with an integrated Immortalis G925 GPU and a 10-core architecture.

The Pad 7 Ultra will comprise an OLED display of 14 inches in size. The panel will feature a notch 3D facial recognition ability and be surrounded by ultra-thin bezels on all sides. The slate will have rounded corners and house a battery with 120 W charging support.

The Xiaomi 15S Pro will have an LTPO quad-curve 6.73-inch display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 2K. The panel will also house an ultrasonic fingerprint reader. The tablet will have a triple camera setup with a Leica branding. One camera will be a periscope telephoto lens with 10x zoom, while another camera is a 50 MP sensor.

The smartphone will be powered by a 6,100 mAh battery with support for 50 W wireless charging and 90 W wired charging. The handset will have a UWB port to integrate with the manufacturer’s YU7/SU7 series.

There is no update about a global launch of the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra and 15S Pro at the moment.
