Samsung has rolled out the November 2024 security update to a few more smartphones in the past couple of weeks.
The update does not offer performance improvements or new software features. Instead, it delivers various security and privacy enhancements. The update can be downloaded manually using a Windows PC and the Odin tool or through the Software update section in the Settings app.
Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6
Following the release of the November security update for the Galaxy Z Flip 4 as well as Z Fold 4, Samsung has now offered the same for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6. The update is at present confined to the handsets in the home or South Korean market.
The update for the Z Flip 6 is associated with the firmware version F741NKSU2AXK8. On the other hand, the update for the Z Fold 6 has a firmware version F956NKSU2AXK8.
Galaxy S21 FE
After rolling out the security update for a few countries in Europe, the manufacturer has now made the update available to some other countries in Europe as well. Along with this, the November security update can be availed by users in the USA and Asia.

In Europe, the new update is available in all countries for smartphones with the model number SM-G990B2 and features the firmware version G990B2XXSAGXJ3.
In the United States, the carrier-locked handsets associated with the Xfinity Mobile and Comcast networks can avail the update bearing the firmware version G990USQSEGXJ6.
In Asia, the update is available for smartphones in several countries including Afghanistan, India, Thailand, Nepal, Vietnam, and more. The update is associated with a firmware version G990EXXSCFXJ3.
Galaxy S21 Series
The Galaxy S21 series, comprising the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Utra, has started receiving the security update in the United States. At present, the South Korean tech giant is offering the update for only factory-unlocked models.

The update is available with the firmware version G99xU1UESEXJ4 for the above-mentioned models.
Galaxy S23 Lineup
Following the release of the software update in the first week of November, the Galaxy S21 lineup in the home country South Korea has started receiving the update. All three smartphones, the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra, are now getting the update with the firmware version S91xNKSU5CXK4.
Apart from improving device security, the update also enhances device stability in Korea.
