Samsung is gearing up to release its all-new Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition before this year draws to a close.
The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition smartphone will join the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 that are already in the market. This will be the third foldable smartphone from the manufacturer for the year and also the thinnest foldable so far.

A leak on Android Headlines gave an interesting insight into what the Z Fold Special Edition will look like. This is the first photo of the smartphone that has been leaked so far ever since there have been discussions about the same.
Design
According to the leaked photo, the Z Fold Special Edition bears a slight resemblance to the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Both smartphones have a square-like look and a flat frame. It has already been mentioned in the past that the handset has a thinness of just 4.9 mm when it is unfolded. The photo stands testimony to the statement and it appears slightly thinner than the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
The render also indicates a brushed metal appearance. It is unknown at this point if the handset will have a glass panel with a brushed metal-like finish below it or a real brushed metal panel for the rear panel. The color options are also unclear at the moment.
Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition Camera
Unlike the case of modern Samsung smartphones, the Special Edition foldable smartphone has a prominent camera bump on its rear. According to rumors, the smartphone is expected to have a 200 MP primary rear camera. The protruding housing is likely to be because of this. It is also slated to be equipped with a 5 MP under-panel camera fitted in its foldable screen.
There are talks that the upcoming smartphone will have a wider aspect ratio than the Fold 6. However, the photo that is captured at an angle makes it difficult to ascertain this for now.
