For a die-hard fan of the series, it is difficult to say no to the kickass Gears of War 4 Xbox One S limited edition available with a hefty price tag of $450.
Gears of War 4 is about to get launched on Xbox One consoles and PCs on October 11th. With just a week to go, players have already pre-ordered the game and looking forward the don Marcus’ boosts again. While they are hyped for the title, those who are planning to buy a new console or upgrade the bulky machine should probably go for this hardcore beast of a machine despite the increased price tag that might put you off.
There is enough storage space to keep all your AAA titles as the special edition bundle packs 2 terabytes of hard drive space inside the red colored Xbox One S system. It’s not the usual console that you might have seen at occasions. Rather, Microsoft in association with the developers have gone the extra mile to ensure it reflects the game’s badass setup.
The game’s official logo is engraved on the console’s side vent. One of the corners on the console has deep gashes as if a monster has gnawed onto it. An exclusive Gears of War 4 tune has been incorporated into the console. It plays whenever it boots up and there’s a different tune the console plays when you switch it off.
A strong deep red tone is maintained throughout the console and the controller. The deep gashes can also be found on the red Xbox One S controller which is a welcome addition and helps it stand apart from the long list of controllers that is available online. The bundle includes Gears of War 4 ultimate edition priced at $129.99. It includes a season pass, new weapon skins, characters and obviously the base game. Buying the bundle will also give you access to the game four days earlier to the official launch date.
The grunge red custom paint job used on the console might put off some gamers but the build quality is simply superb. We realized it only when we had the opportunity to see and touch the device in person. It feels good to hold, sturdy and the gashes on the console or the controller doesn’t hinder your gaming experience as they are tactically placed in the corners.
