Gears of War 4 unexpectedly faced hitching issues on the Xbox One console.
Earlier, the developers assumed it was found on the PC version as well but it wasn’t.
Confirming the same, the developers at Coalition games released a new update so as to allow gamers on the Xbox One platform to enjoy the game as it is meant to be. In their blog, the team confirmed they have found a way to fix it on the consoles.
“We have identified the issue on the console and will roll out an update to stop the hitching issues that players have been facing in the game,” said the company. Within a very short period, the patch was rolled out. “There is no need to do any of the workarounds suggested by our team a day earlier. This patch will get the job done,” read an updated version of the post.
Apart from this small update, Coalition is also working on a large title update. Until then, players will not be able to connect Xbox One and PC for local offline LAN gameplay. The feature will be disabled for some reasons and will resume once the big update is rolled out. Online cross play feature is still active allowing players to enjoy on any platform of their choice and keep playing Gears of War 4.
Microsoft recently brought all the Xbox One exclusives to PC except for the Halo franchise. The newly launched titles including Forza Horizon and Gears of War 4 has received rave reviews. Besides, they are highly optimized for PC platforms much to the delight of gamers with powerful gaming rigs.
The bug fixing update for the Xbox One console is about 216 megabytes. An advantage of buying the game is that it is part of the Play Anywhere program. Players can purchase it once on a platform of their choice and it will be available on both PC as well as Xbox One. So far, it has been going on a very good run. If you haven’t got the game yet, this is the time to do so.
There aren’t any big glitches or issues with Gears of War 4 on PC and Xbox One. It works seamless so far and offers good multiplayer experience. Other possible AAA titles scheduled for launch include Battlefield 1, Call of Duty Infinite Warfare and Titanfall 2. But, the GoW experience is unique in its own respect.
