Google Fi has come up with a fabulous $300 off on its last year’s flagships the Google Pixel 3 and 3 XL.
The last time Google Fi had offered such a large discount was a one-day affair to mark Fi’s 4th birthday in April. This time however, the offer appears to be a more serious one. The usual condition in fine print that says “offer is valid while supplies last or while the promotion is live” is obviously seen without any last date for the offer to end being specified.
Rare Offer for Flagships
It is not everyday that you get to pick up a high-end smartphone at $700. The Google Pixel 3 XL with 128GB storage costs $999 on regular days. This Google Fi offer now means you can buy this phone for just $699, $300 less. The phones have had some excellent reviews, particularly the camera section has scored top points. The stock Android experience is another major reason smartphone buyers have preferred the Google Pixel models.
Will it Hit the Sales of the Budget Models?
Google decided to expand the market for its Pixel phones by launching the stripped-down version of the two models and called them the Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL. This enabled the users to enjoy all the perks of a top-quality phone at affordable prices. This current offer on Google Fi however means that if you were planning to buy the Google Pixel 3a at $399, you can actually pick up the Google Pixel 3 64GB variant by paying just $100 more.
Customers do enjoy these offers from time to time and it does help the company clock more sales using these offers. Google had run a similar offer on Google Store, where select customers got $300 discounts while the rest could still get a $200 cut from the marked prices.
Google could be clearing up the stocks in the pipeline to make room for the Google Pixel 4 and 4 XL models slated for release later in the year.
