A Rockstar Games insider has shared important details pertaining to the Grand Theft Auto 6 reveal trailer and the date on which it will be dropped.
Last week, Rockstar Games confirmed that it is developing the next game in the GTA franchise. Though it has not been titled yet, fans are referring to it as GTA 6. One won’t be surprised if it turns out to be the final title as the earlier games have been named in a similar fashion.

Apart from confirming that the development team is actively working on the next installment, Rockstar Games has not shared any other detail about it. When official sources refrain from sharing details about an awaited game, insiders get into action and try to unearth important information about the game. If rumors are to be believed, the game, like some of the earlier games in the franchise, will be set in modern-day Vice City.
Now The Tez2, a Rockstar Games insider has asserted that GTA 6 (or whatever they decide to call it) will be revealed in 2022 itself. While the insider does not offer detailed information about the trailer, they have stated that it will have a lot of similarities with the GTA 5 reveal trailer. It wouldn’t be a CGI trailer but one that would offer give gamers a glimpse of the game’s ‘work-in-progress’ version.

The Tez2 has not specified the exact date for the reveal trailer’s release but it could happen between September and December as the gaming publisher reveals its games during this period. On November 2, 2011, GTA V was revealed and Red Dead Redemption 2 had its unveiling on October 20, 2016. Rockstar Games, on its part, has not responded to these rumors yet.
