After confirming that Grand Theft Auto 6 is in the works, Rockstar Games has largely refrained from sharing any important updates about the game.
However, the head of Rockstar Games has now come forward to share a major development update pertaining to the game.
In a recently conducted financial call, Strauss Zelnick, who serves as the CEO of Take-Two Interactive, shared a few things about Rockstar Games. Zelnick stated that Take-Two Interactive is elated with the high sales registered by Red Dead Redemption 2 and Grand Theft Auto V. Apart from talking about sales figures, Zelnick also shared details on the things Rockstar is struggling with at the moment and the kind of plans the company has for the future.

Zelnick stated the entire team at Rockstar Games is working tremendously hard towards developing Grand Theft Auto 6. The team, as per Zelnick, is determined to put together a game that sets a new ‘creative benchmark’ in the gaming industry. While Zelnick didn’t share more information about GTA 6, his statement made it clear that it’s been a long time since GTA 6 is being developed. Zelnick’s statement has also made those fans feel a little less anxious who were of the impression that Rockstar has not been giving GTA 6 the kind of attention it requires.
While a lot of speculation is taking place for the game, Rockstar Games has decided to keep its cards closer to its chest. The gaming publisher has consciously decided not to talk much about the game. In fact, the company has not even confirmed the official title of the game. Keeping Rockstar Games’ tradition of naming its games, everybody expects it to be called Grand Theft Auto 6 but the gaming publisher has not confirmed it.
