There is still quite a bit of time for GTA 5’s next-generation version, which is being referred to as the ‘expanded and enhanced’ edition by many, to launch.
However, this particular version is constantly being discussed by fans in different forums and communities. Recently, some important details pertaining to a new ‘chameleon’ paint job being launched with the re-release came to the fore.
Apart from colored paint jobs, fans can look forward to a lot of geographical enhancements and improvements in the performance of several vehicles. Since one has to wait for a couple of months more for the next-gen edition to arrive, one can expect a lot more updates about it in the times to come. If you have been someone amused by the customization options offered in GTA V, you could definitely appreciate the paint jobs that will be out with the arrival of the new edition.
Though one has to wait till March 2022 to start using these paint jobs, fans will keep getting some information about it at regular intervals. When Rockstar Games launched The Contract DLC a couple of weeks ago, they showcased a few files for the soon-to-be-launched version of the game.

It must be noted here that all the new paint jobs are priced at $1,200 GTA Dollars but the price could go a little up or down by the time the next-gen edition arrives in the market. Initially, there were plans to release Grand Theft Auto V: Expanded & Enhanced towards the latter half of 2021 but during the recently conducted PlayStation State of Play event, the gaming company confirmed that the next-gen edition shall be launched in March 2022.
While a final date has not been decided by the company, the release shouldn’t get postponed any further.
