They confirmed that the new 25 HPE800 version of the Ford Mustang is the fastest of them all.
The car has been designed to commemorate its 25th anniversary. With the right tweaking, the Ford Mustang GT is capable of delivering about 804 horsepower and has an exciting top speed of 207 miles per hour. The car can easily accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 3.1 seconds. It has 878 Nm of torque which is rated at 4,400 rpm. The new package is available for both the convertible version of the Mustang GT and the hard top variants.
Cars equipped with manual and automatic transmission systems can make use of the 25th anniversary special edition upgrade created by Hennessey. The special edition HPE800 model is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 supercharged powertrain which also houses a 2.9-liter supercharger system on the inside. All special editions are usually marked so as to give the buyer a sense of exclusivity. The new launch from Hennessey follows the same pattern.
Each one of the cars released by the company has a limited edition serial number marked on it. Only 25 cars will be built for the 25th anniversary program and all of them will be provided the certificate of authenticity from the Hennessey brand. Premium tweaks are made to the interior and exterior of the car which includes the special supercharged badging as well as the embroidered headrests.
The Ford Mustang GT HPE800 is equipped with Hennessey H10 lightweight 20-inch wheels. Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires are used in the car for extra grip and comfort on the road at top speed. The powertrain has upgraded fuel injectors combined with axle back exhaust system. The special edition has three-year warranty or up to 36,000 miles range.
Actual pricing for the special edition Mustang GT is yet to be announced. It is most probably going to be on the higher side as it is not something meant for the average user. The pricing should be close to $100,000 and if you can spend the money, you can obviously enjoy the best performance combined with a superfast powertrain that could break records on any track.
