A Honor smartphone with model number JAT-LX3 has been approved by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the U.S.

In October, the Honor JAT-L29 and JAT-LX1 smartphones have been respectively spotted with Honor 8A and Honor 8A Pro monikers on the database of Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). An updated listing of the JAT-LX1 listing (which appeared today) reveals that this model also carries Honor 8A moniker.

The Chinese edition of the Honor 8A with model numbers Honor JAT-AL00/TL00 were spotted without fingerprint scanner. However, the model that has appeared on the database of FCC seems to be the Honor 8A Pro since it features a fingerprint scanner on its rear as you can see in the cover image.

The FCC listing of the JAT-LX3 has only revealed the images of the Honor 8A. The FCC document does not contain any information on the specifications of the smartphone. The front image of the phone reveals that it features a waterdrop notch display. Its bottom bezel is so thick that the company has placed “honor” brand name inside it.

The shine on the rear shell of the Honor 8A suggests it could be featuring a metallic body. A single camera along with an LED flash is placed on the top-left corner. The left side of the phone features a SIM tray whereas the volume rocker and power button are located on the right side. A 3.5 mm audio jack is available on the top edge of the phone while a microUSB port seems to be seated in between two speaker grilles.
