Three Nokia 9 PureView aka Nokia 9 (2018) variants have been certified by the BTSIG body and this suggests the phone could be announced anytime soon.
The model numbers found in the Bluetooth website were TA-1082, TA-1087 and TA-1094. The Bluetooth version is 5.0 and this is not a 5G phone. Apart from this, we don’t have any other information from the listing.
Recent leaks about Nokia 9 pureview, especially the case leaks have revealed certain important features about the phone. Here’s what we know about this device.
Nokia 9 Pureview Specs and Features
The most significant leak about this device so far has been the presence of penta-lens camera on the rear side of the phone.
We can expect this flagship phone from Nokia to be powered by the most powerful processer, the Snapdragon 855. This is certainly not a 5G enabled phone as we can clearly see 4G mentioned in the BTSIG listing.

The display is expected to be 5.9 inches and it could bear a notch-less design. We can expect internal storage to be 64 GB/ 128 GB coupled with 8 GB / 10 GB RAM variants. In addition to this, the phone could support wireless charging and would ship with Android Pie out of the box.
Nokia 9 was already certified in Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) for the model number TA-1087. Another model number TA-1094 was spotted in China earlier with a 5-camera design and the leaked image had the codename of the phone mentioned as AOP_sprout.
Nokia 9 Pureview Release Date
Nokia 9 was expected to be launched in Dubai during HMD Global’s launch event in Dubai on December 5 but we didn’t see anything about this model. However, with this certification, we can safely assume that Nokia 9 pureview will be released anytime in Q1 2019. The device is expected to be highest priced Nokia phone at around $800 to $850.
