Struggling smartphone company HTC has been working on the Desire 10 for quite a while.
The device is reportedly set for launch towards the end of September, but there is a surprise in store since there will not just be one version of the HTC Desire 10. New leaks and rumors suggest that the phone will be available in two variants – HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle and HTC Desire 10 Pro. The two devices will have significant differences when it comes to style. Almost every important specifications of the HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle have already been leaked in several forms.
It is clear from the nomenclature that the HTC Desire 10 will be focusing on style more than performance. Even then, it is rumored to come with a 5.5-inch screen with 720p resolution. Even though there is more than enough screen real estate, mid-range buyers will have to do with a mediocre resolution. The rear camera will have LED flash and a 13-megapixel sensor, while the front facing five-megapixel sensor is deemed to be sufficient enough. Like many other mid-range of smartphones, HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle could be available in two variants depending on internal storage. These two variants could also have differences with regard to RAM quantity.
The 16 GB version of the HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle is rumored to come with only 2 GB of RAM while the slightly expensive 32 GB version is set to have 3 GB of RAM. BoomSound speakers make its return on the HTC line-up. For a long time, HTC phones were one of the best for audiophiles due to the use of excellent speakers. This tradition has disappeared of late, but the HTC Desire 10 could be credited with revival. Apart from having excellent on-board speakers, the phone could also come with an excellent set of headphones.
Most of the aspects seen on the HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle could be offered on the HTC Desire 10 Pro without much changes. However, the latter could come with a powerful Qualcomm processor used to run the android 6.0 OS. Even though the phone may come by the time android nougat becomes official, it may be only offered as an update. HTC is rumored to be working extremely hard behind the scenes so as to launch the two new variants, which will complement the HTC 10, before the end of September.
