Huawei Enjoy 6S is the next low-end phone to come from the Chinese tech giant, right on the back of an excellent performance in Q3 2016 – a performance that saw the OEM emerge as the most profitable Android manufacturer over the same period.
In case you didn’t know, the predecessor to the new Huawei Enjoy 6S was launched back in October this year, meaning the original Enjoy 6 has just been here for about two months. Manufactured in partnership with China Mobile, Huawei Enjoy 6S is yet another entry level handset from the renowned tech company and even though it has been confirmed for the Chinese market, we expect the phone to make it to other regions, although western regions are unlikely to see it.
Featuring a display size of 5 inches, the Huawei Enjoy 6S packs a 720p resolution, which is not bad for a sub-$250 smartphone. Under the hood, the Enjoy 6S comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC that is clocked at a speed of 1.4GHz and is paired with a RAM of 3GB. When compared to the original Enjoy 6, the new model comes with more storage of 32GB.
With photography having already established itself as a major part of smartphones, be it entry level, midrange or high-end models, the Huawei Enjoy 6S packs a decent 13MP snapper on the back with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture alongside a capable 5MP selfie sensor.
One killer feature of the Huawei Enjoy 6 is its huge 4100mAh battery, however, this battery capacity has been cut down to just 3020mAh on the new Huawei Enjoy 6S. The result of this is that you get a slimmer Enjoy 6S as compared to the older Enjoy 6, which is something some will still be happy about. The back of the phone has a fingerprint scanner located just below the camera, which promises tighter security for your data.
As usual with Huawei low end phones, you get support for Dual-SIM services. In terms of pricing, the Chinese market values the Huawei Enjoy 6S at CNY 1,599, which is equivalent to about $235. The phone has three color variants of white, silver and gold
