Huawei Nova 5 and Nova 5i monikers with respective model numbers SEA-LX1 and GLK-LX1U have appeared on the database of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
The Chinese variants of the Nova 5i with model numbers GLK-AL00 and GLK-TL00 were already certified by the 3C authority in China a few days ago. Last year, Huawei had launched the Nova 3 and Nova 3i phones in July. Hence, it appears that arrival of the Nova 5 and Nova 5i smartphones could be drawing near.
The EEC listing of the Nova 5 and Nova 5i phones have no information on their specs. The 3C certification of Huawei Nova 5i has revealed that it would be shipped with 10W charger.
Huawei Nova 5 Specs
XDA Editor-in-Chief, Mishaal Rahman had recently shared information on the specs of upcoming Huawei / Honor devices. The list of phones leaked by him included SEA-AL10 / TL10, which is the Nova 5 smartphone. Leaked information revealed by him reveals that the Nova 5 will be a flagship phone powered by Kirin 980. This indicates that the Nova 5i could be a mid-range phone fueled by the Kirin 710 SoC.
The Huawei Nova 5 is expected to house a 6.39-inch AMOLED display that will carry support for full HD+ resolution. The Nova 4 smartphone that was announced at the end of 2018 came with a punch-hole display. There is no confirmation on whether the Nova 5 will be also featuring the same kind of display.
The Nova 5 will be packed with a 3,500 mAh battery and it will carry support fast charging. For capturing selfies, the Nova 5 may feature a 25-megapixel Sony IMX576 sensor. Its rear side could be equipped with triple camera setup that will include a 12.3-megapixel Sony IMX380 sensor, a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor and a Sony IMX316 ToF (Time of Flight) sensor. The case images of the phone that were leaked recently had revealed that it will be equipped with an in-screen fingerprint reader.
