Upcoming Huawei P Smart 2019 smartphone has officially obtained FCC certification in the US for the model number POT-LX3.
From the FCC listing, we have been able to collect details like RAM, internal storage capacity, battery information along with dimensions of the phone.
Huawei P Smart 2019 Specs
The prototype image of the phone clearly reveals the dimensions of the phone along with the camera placement. From the image, it is obvious that the device will have a small camera placed at the center of the screen in the front side, which corresponds to what is called the ‘Waterdrop notch’. The dimensions measure 155.2 mm in height, 73.4 mm in width and 161.2 mm in diagonal side. This translates to 6.2 inch display on the device.

The rear side has a fingerprint scanner placed on the middle of the device in the top half. We can also find a provision for a dual camera and a small round shaped opening for flash.
Huawei P Smart 2019 will be powered by a 3320 mAh Li-ion battery. It has a microSD card interface, an earphone port and comes in 2 memory variants namely 3GB RAM + 32 GB and 3GB + 64 GB. We doubt if this will have a 4GB RAM variant since it’s not mentioned in the FCC report.
Huawei P Smart 2019 Pricing and Release Date
Reliable online rumors suggest that the the phone will be powered by the Kirin 710 SoC chipset.
Pricing is expected to be €199 and Huawei is expected to launch the device in Europe in 2019 January.
We expect this smartphone to be launched globally (albeit with a different name) as we have already spotted another model variant of this device POT-LX1 in Russia. The device was certified by Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in the last week of October.

The 2018 variant of Huawei P Smart was released as Huawei Enjoy 7S in China. The same device was also named as Huawei Y7s in Taiwan. It’s also worth mentioning here that Huawei released a phone in mid 2018 in Europe with the name Huawei P Smart+ which was also known as Huawei Nova 3i in other regions. If Huawei P Smart 2019 is the name of the device in Europe (as seen from the EEC certification), then it may be released in other countries with a different name.
We will update more about this device when we have more details.
