The mysterious Vivo 1817 smartphone has appeared on Geekbench today with some of its key specs. This handset has also been certified by TKDN Indonesia certification body in the previous month.
The TKDN listing of the phone has no information on its specifications, but its Geekbench listing has revealed that the handset is running on Android 8.1 Oreo OS and it has only 2 GB of RAM. It seems to be yet another Y-series Vivo phone from the company.
The Vivo 1817 smartphone’s Geekbench listing does not include the name of the processor that powers it. The 1.96 GHz clocking speed suggests which processor could be powering the smartphone.
The recently launched Vivo Y95 smartphone has a model number of V1807. It is fueled by Snapdragon 439. Before the launch of the smartphone, it was spotted with 1.96 GHz processor on Geekbench. Hence, there is a possibility that the Vivo 1817 could be also driven by the same Snapdragon 439 chipset. It is likely that the phone may feature the new Snapdragon 429 that also has a processing speed of 2.0 GHz.
The Vivo Y95 is equipped with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. There is a possibility that the Vivo 1817 phone could be its lower variant feature 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB / 32 GB of storage or it could be an entirely different smartphone powered by Snapdragon 439. More details on the smartphone may surface through its TENAA listing in the near future.
The Vivo Y95 features a 6.22-inch notched display that supports HD+ resolution. For photography, the handset is equipped with 20-megapixel front camera and 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual rear camera. It is driven by 4,030mAh battery. It is preinstalled with Android 8.1 Oreo OS and FunTouch OS 4.5.
