Huawei P10 Leaks Confirm up to Five Variants and their Prices

Huawei P10 and P10 Plus

In 2016, Huawei took the world by storm when it debuted the P9 flagship with a Leica-branded dual-lens camera on the back. Ever since then, the feature is slowly becoming mainstream not just for the company’s flagship phones, but also for the midrange family.

With this in mind, many are looking forward to an even better Huawei P10, which is expected to be released in Q2, just like last year’s P9. Even though the specific date is not yet known, a fair amount of details regarding this phone is already out there.

Not so long ago, leaked images of the Huawei P10 showed up revealing the supposed design language of the phone. But as expected from leaked images, there were no details of the phone’s specs, features, and pricing. In a new turn of events, more details of the P10 have surfaced revealing the core specs of the phone alongside their pricing details.

Apparently, the Huawei P10 will ship with at least five variants. Like last year, there’s a P10 Plus variant in the making and in fact, leaked images of this model showed off a curved dual-edge screen that resembles the Mate 9 Pro or Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. The images also revealed that the Plus variant could ship with an iris scanner, similar to the dead Samsung Galaxy Note 7.

Where the standard Huawei P10 will ship with three variants, the P10 Plus will come in with two more variants. According to a new rumor, the entry-level variant of the former will ship with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Apparently, this model will set you back CNY 3,488, which is about $510. Then next in line will keep the same RAM but up the storage to 64GB, which will also up the price to CNY 4,088 or about $600. The high-end offering of the P10 will have a RAM of 6GB and a storage of 128GB. This will set you back CNY 4,688 or approximately $685.

Coming to the curved Huawei P10 Plus, the base model will ship with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. This model will cost you CNY 4,988 or about $730. On the other hand, the high-end model will come in with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Here, you’ll need CNY 5,688 or about $830 in order to get your hands on the flagship.

Previous rumors had claimed that the Huawei P10 flagship may keep the same Kirin 960 SoC that was used in the Mate 9, but others are adamant that the Chinese OEM will debut this phone with a more advanced chipset, probably a Kirin 965. But like the latest details, this is based on rumors, meaning you’ll have to take the reports with a pinch of salt, at least for now.
