iQOO Neo5S’ live shot has appeared on Weibo today. Several reports have claimed that iQOO is planning to two new phones this month.
There have been conflicting reports about the moniker of the upcoming iQOO models. However, the live shot that has appeared on Weibo reveals the iQOO’s next flagship phone will be called the iQOO Neo5S. The image also revealed some of the key specifications of the smartphone.
Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station had recently tipped that new phones such as the Vivo S12, Vivo S12 Pro, iQOO Neo5S, and iQOO Neo5 SE are waiting in the pipeline to go official in China. These smartphones are expected to debut this month with the latest OriginOS Ocean onboard.
The live shot of the iQOO Neo 5S that has surfaced today also reveals that it will be equipped with the OriginOS Ocean. The image reveals that it will be sporting a punch-hole display and it will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform The device will ship with 8GB of RAM and 4GB of virtual RAM. It will offer internal storage of 128GB.
Recent reports have revealed that the iQOO Neo5S will be featuring a 6.56-inch OLED panel that offers FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The SD888 powered device may come with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage.
The Neo 5S may feature a front camera of 16MP and a rear-facing triple camera unit featuring a 48MP Sony IMX598 primary camera with OIS support. It may draw power from a 4,500mAh battery that supports 66W rapid charging. It is expected to arrive with other features like an in-screen fingerprint scanner, a linear motor, and dual speakers.
Two upcoming Vivo phones with model numbers V2154A or V2157A have been spotted with a 66W fast charger at China’s 3C certification. The former could be the iQOO Neo5S while the latter could be the iQOO Neo5 SE.
