iQOO Neo5s with Snapdragon 888 SoC, 48MP triple cameras, and 66W fast charging may launch soon.
iQOO Neo5s could be the third member in the Neo5 series, after the Neo5 and Neo5 Lite. The device has been subject to multiple leaks, revealing key details about the phone. Now, a Chinese tipster on Weibo has shared the entire specifications and the expected pricing for the iQOO Neo5s.
As per the new leak, iQOO Neo5s will come with a 6.56-inch flat display, developed by BOE, China’s leading display maker. The panel supports a 10-bit color gamut and has a FullHD+ resolution of 2,376 by 1,080 pixels. The new iQOO phone is tipped to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256B storage.
iQOO Neo5s is said to be backed by a 4,500mAh battery with fast-charging support of 66W. It could feature a triple camera setup on the back, led by a 48MP Sony IMX598 primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support. Details about the other two sensors are currently unknown. The phone may get a 16MP snapper for front photography.
According to the tipster, iQOO Neo5s is equipped with a second-gen independent display chip and a second-gen full-coverage liquid-cooling heat dissipation system, dual speakers, and a linear motor. The phone is expected to be priced at around 2,999 yuan (approx. $465) for the 8GB + 128GB variant and the 12GB + 256GB variant may cost 3,499 yuan (approx. $542).
Pretty much everything in terms of specifications has been unfolded. However, the design of Neo5s is still a mystery. Hopefully, more leaks in the coming weeks will reveal unknown things about the phone. Since there is no way to confirm the authenticity of the leak, it is advisable to grasp the details with a pinch of salt.
