A new leak reveals the processer details of the Oppo Reno7 series.
The top-end Oppo Reno7 Pro+ is tipped to feature Snapdragon 888 SoC, while the standard and Pro models will get MediaTek Dimensity chipsets.
Oppo Reno7 series is reportedly in the works and is expected to launch as early as next month. It is expected to bring significant camera improvements, as compared to the Oppo Reno6 and Reno6 Pro. A recent leak revealed the camera details, and now processor details have been leaked by a Chinese tipster Bald Panda.
Oppo is expected to bring three models under the Reno7 series – Oppo Reno7, Reno7 Pro, and the top-end Reno7 Pro+. According to the tipster, the standard Oppo Reno7 will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset, and the Reno7 Pro will get MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. The top-of-the-line Oppo Reno7 Pro+ is said to be fueled by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset.
The Oppo Reno7 series is said to bring major camera improvements over its predecessor. A recent Weibo post by a reliable Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station reveals that the Oppo Reno7 Pro will feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 as the primary sensor. So, it will be a big upgrade from the Reno6 Pro, which has a 64MP OmniVision OV64B primary sensor.
According to an old post by Digital Chat Station, the Reno7 Pro could be the same phone which was being co-developed with Kodak. Anyway, this has not been confirmed by the brand or through any leak. There’s also a possibility that the Oppo Find series phone might get Kodak-developed camera sensors.
There is so much to learn about the Reno7 series. The company has not yet confirmed the arrival of the Reno7 series. However, tipster Digital Chat Station believes that the launch is not too far from here. The standard Reno7 is said to compete with Vivo S12, which is also expected to launch soon.
