iQOO U5 with V2165A model number has been approved by the TENAA authority of China. It was spotted at the 3C certification platform and IMEI database in the previous month.
These certifications show that the iQOO U5 may launch soon in China. Reports have claimed that the U5 will rival the Redmi Note 11 5G in China.
iQOO U5 Specifications
The iQOO U5’s TENAA certification has revealed that it measures 164 x 75.84 x 8.25mm and weighs 185 grams. While the TENAA listing states that it will be available in black color, there is a possibility that the company may make it available in multiple colors.
The iQOO U5 features a 6.58-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It appears that it will be the first U-series phone from iQOO to feature an AMOLED display. It has a front camera of 8-megapixel, and its rear camera setup includes a 50MP main snapper and a 2MP macro/depth camera. Unfortunately, the images of the phone haven’t yet appeared in the TENAA listing of the device.
The U5 is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core processor. Speculations surrounding the smartphone have claimed that it will be driven by the Dimensity 810 chipset. The handset will come in multiple RAM variants such as 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB. It will come in two storage choices such as 128GB and 256GB.
The handset is backed by a 4,910mAh rated battery. It is known through the 3C certification of the device that it may ship with an 18W fast charger. While the images of the phone are not available yet, it seems that the device is fitted with a rear or side-facing fingerprint scanner. iQOO will be announcing the iQOO Neo5s and Neo5 SE smartphones on December 20 in China. It is unclear whether the iQOO U5 will be announced alongside the Neo5S and Neo5 SE smartphones.
