iQOO Neo5s and iQOO Neo5 SE are the upcoming rumored phones from iQOO.
Today, the company took its Weibo handle to reveal that the new Neo branded phones will be announced on December 20 in China. It appears that the aforementioned smartphones may go official on the said date.
The poster released by the brand tells that its next Neo lineup phones will come preinstalled with the latest OriginOS Ocean UI, which was announced yesterday in China. The poster also teases the design of a new phone with a punch-hole display. While iQOO has not confirmed the names of the upcoming Neo phones, it can be said based on recent reports that these will be called iQOO Neo 5S and iQOO Neo5 SE.
iQOO Neo5S Specifications (Rumored)
The iQOO Neo 5S is expected to arrive with specs like a 6.56-inch OLED FHD+ display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. It may feature a front camera of 16-megapixel and an OIS-ready Sony IMX598 48-megapixel triple camera unit. It will run on Android 12 OS and OriginOS Ocean UI.
The Snapdragon 888 chip will power the device with 8GB / 12GB of RAM. The device will come with 128GB / 256GB of built-in storage. The device may house a 4,500mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging. The iQOO Neo5S is said to be an updated version of the iQOO Neo5 Vitality Edition, which was announced in China earlier this year.
The rumor mill is yet to spill concrete details about the iQOO Neo5 SE smartphone. Rumors surrounding it suggest that it will be driven by the Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset, and it may carry support for 66W fast charging. At present, there is no information available on the pricing of these smartphones.
