A new iQOO phone with 48MP triple rear cameras, AMOLED display, and 3GHz octa-core processor was spotted on TENAA and it could be a Neo-series phone.
Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO is reportedly in the works to launch a new Neo-series smartphone which is expected to go official next month. Today, we have spotted a new iQOO phone with model number V2136GA and its network variant V2136A on China’s TENAA regulatory body. The TENAA listing reveals pretty much everything in terms of design and specifications.
iQOO V2136GA Design and Specifications
The new iQOO phone has a rectangular camera module on the back housing three sensor. It appears to have a metal finish on the back. The power button and volume rockers can be seen on the right side. TENAA images also confirm that there will be a BMW edition of the V2136GA, featuring a colorful vertical stripe on the back.
According to the TENAA listing, the iQOO V2136GA has a 6.56-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 2376 pixels FullHD+ resolution and a fingerprint sensor under the display. Under the hood, it is powered by a 3.0GHz octa-core processor, which could be the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset.
The triple camera setup on the back of iQOO V2136GA consists of 48MP + 13MP + 13MP sensors. It has a 16MP snapper for selfies and video calling. The device has a dual-cell battery with each cell having a 2,120mAh rated capacity, giving a total of 4,240mAh rated capacity. The iQOO V2136GA was recently spotted on 3C certification, revealing 120W fast charging support.
TENAA specifications suggest that iQOO V2136GA could be a gaming-centric device from the Chinese brand. Speculations that are it will launch as a Neo-series phone, could be iQOO Neo 7. According to a Weibo tipster Arsenal, iQOO might launch a new Neo phone in the next month. If this is true, then the brand is likely to start teasing the device very soon.
