Apple has been enjoying incredible popularity for the newly launched Apple iPhone 7 and the Apple iPhone 7 Plus.
The availability in new colors, along with several improvements in terms of hardware, has especially made these devices incredibly popular. Even though Apple has not come out with official figures of pre-orders in the first few days of the launch, T-Mobile recently revealed a report stating that they have received unprecedented interest in the device.
Since the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are being made available at no extra cost compared to the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus, they have actually been great value in every sense. This is especially true when it comes to the memory aspect. Apple has completely removed the 16 GB version from the line-up. Instead, the 32 GB variant will now act as the base model for the iPhone range. This straightaway acts as a major incentive given that users of the 16 GB model have suffered with the lack of storage, as the phone does not accept memory cards.
Apple has now revealed that the iPhone 7 Plus will not be available in any color as it is completely sold out during pre-orders. The smaller iPhone 7, though, will be available in all colors other than the jet black option. This new color may be a fingerprint magnet, but the high gloss nature adds a lot of appeal to the device. However, it is quite clear that the matt black will be the sought after color with regard to the latest iPhone. Apple has stated in an open warning that the jet black version is prone to scratches and it is recommended to use a cover.
The introduction of the ‘force touch’ technology into the home button is one of the few inventions on the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. However, it should be remembered that both these devices are meant to be revolutionary. Apple has not brought about new features in the display, although it claims that the 4.7 inch and the 5.5-inch screen are now 25% brighter than before.
Apple’s official website estimates that it will be until November before a jet black version of the iPhone 7 Plus becomes available. The regular iPhone 7 in the same color is expected to take around 3 to 5 weeks before it is available. The iPhone 7 starts at $649 for the 32 GB variant.
