Just last month we reported that the flagship LeEco Le Pro 3 will be making its debut in the U.S. alongside the midrange LeEco Le S3.
Well, this time is here as the Chinese OEM has finally started the official sale of these two phones in the most wanted smartphone market via its online store – LeMall. The company began its journey into the U.S. market with a flash sale, meaning you get the phones a discounted prices.
A look at the LeEco Le Pro 3 and the Le S3 will tell you that these two are one and the same, if not made by the same company. Well, this could be true to some extent, especially since the two phones have a very similar outward appearance, apart from a few things here and there.
Both the flagship Le Pro 3 and the mid-range Le S3 have the same screen size of 5.5 inches, featuring the same Full HD resolution. You get Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box alongside an EUI skin. Under the hood, the Le Pro 3 has some really impressive specs, including the latest Snapdragon 821 SoC alongside a huge battery unit of 4070mAh. As for the midrange Le S3, you get an equally powerful midrange processor in the shape of Snapdragon 652 while the battery is also decent at 3000mAh. You also get the latest USB-C connectivity on both phones, something that is not common with midrange devices.
Given the rich specs sheet of the two LeEco phones, it would be natural for the prices to be somewhere close to the skies. However, you will be surprised to know that the high-end LeEco Le Pro 3 costs just $399 while the Le S3 is valued at just $249. As part of the flash sale, LeEco has dropped $100 from each phone, which makes the whole thing one of the best smartphone deals in the present day.
The story doesn’t end there as the company is also selling these two phones together with free EcoPass memberships for a period of three months. This means that you get to enjoy free video streaming and exclusive discounts. This service also offers cloud storage services and extended warranties.
