The much-requested split screen feature will be introduced in the game in the month of October.
Epic Games, as part of the PlayStation State of Play, has just announced that LEGO Fortnite will be receiving split-screen compatibility. Once this feature is brought into the game, players will see improved multiplayer options for both Xbox and PlayStation. Ever since it was launched in 2023, LEGO Fortnite has seen huge success coming its way. Once the LEGO Fortnite split-screen mode is unveiled, one can expect the player base of the game to expand further.

LEGO Fortnite has borrowed several elements from games like Minecraft and revolves around the battle royale mode’s building mechanics. The game has also attracted a lot of attention for its survival elements and weapon-crafting mechanisms. A lot of parents have stated that this is one of those games that have enabled them to bond with their children. The introduction of the split-screen mode should be welcomed well by both parents and children.
After the September 24 PlayStation State of Play, the official Twitter account of LEGO Fortnite celebrated the announcement of this feature being introduced to the gaming mode. In some of the other game modes of Fortnite, the split-screen mode was already available. However, it will now be a part of LEGO Fortnite in October. Though the release date has not been announced as yet, fans are extremely excited to see how this feature will be incorporated and all that it will offer.

Most gamers associate split-screen gaming with CRT console gaming. With several competitive multiplayer games releasing in the last few years and incorporating this feature, it has received a lot of attention. At the moment, one is not sure whether this feature will be added to LEGO Fortnite towards the beginning or end of October. One is, however, certain about the fact that October is when one will get to try out this feature.
