The Lenovo K6 Power series is not a new smartphone model in the market, but the latest version is new for those who live in India.
Back in September last year, Lenovo unveiled at the K6 Power when attending the IFA in Berlin, Germany. At the time, the company said that the Lenovo K6 Power will be available in three options, but when it reached the Indian market, the only model available was the middle version, which has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. This model is currently valued at Rs 9,999, which is approximately $145.
Now, today, the Chinese tech giant has confirmed that the high-end variant of the Lenovo K6 Power will not be making its way to the country, but it will also attract a slightly higher price tag than its counterpart. Apparently, the extra 1GB of RAM means you also get to part with an extra $15, which brings you at $160 or Rs 10,999 for this model. Any person interested in getting this phone should check out Flipkart as from January 31st starting 12 noon.
As far as other specs are concerned, nothing changes when compared to the 3GB RAM model. The is the same 5-inch Full HD display screen and under the hood, the new Lenovo K6 Power still ships with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor that should be clocked at a speed of 1.4GHz and is paired with an Adreno 505 GPU. The storage capacity also remains the same at 32GB alongside support for microSD card storage.
The rear has a 13MP shooter that comes with a LED flash and PDAF. As for the selfie cam, there is an 8MP lens. Unlike most entry-level phones, the Lenovo K6 Power has a fingerprint sensor mounted on the back and supports the latest connectivity standards, including LTE and Bluetooth 4.2. To power the phone, Lenovo went for a huge 4000mAh battery, but there is no fast charging technology. Software-wise, Android Marshmallow runs the show.
