The Lenovo Moto C and Moto C Plus are rumored to arrive soon, being the most affordable devices at around $100.
It is expected that Lenovo will soon announce these two devices in its Moto C smartphone series. The smartphones are budged devices and will be offered in several colors, namely, black, red as well as gold and white. Both the smartphones will be available in these colors.
The upcoming Moto C and the Moto C Plus are budget phones that are aimed at first time smartphone users. It is natural that they come with reasonably good specifications, and not high end ones. The Lenovo Moto C will be a 3G smartphone, whereas the Moto C Plus will also offer support for LTE connectivity options. Both the smartphones will sport MediaTek system on the chip for all variants.
The Lenovo Moto C will sport a 5 inches screen, supporting an FWVGA resolution 854 x480 p. The Lenovo Moto C Plus, on the other hand, comes with the same screen size. However, it offers support for HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The Moto C is powered by a 32 bit, quadcore chipset clocking at a speed of 1.3 GHz, with the Lenovo Moto C Plus having a superior 64 bit, quadcore chipset, which clocks at a more conservative rate of 1.1 GHz.
The Lenovo Moto C has 1 GB RAM and will be offered in different variants of storage, namely, 8 GB as well as 16 GB versions. As for the Lenovo Moto C Plus model, it will be offered in either 1 GB variant or 2 GB variant, according to the region of release. The native storage on the Plus model will be 16 GB. Both the Moto C and the Moto C Plus will come expandable storage options, being equipped with microSD card slots. Both the phones do not have fingerprint-scanning features.\
As for the Moto C, it will have a 5 MP rear camera including LED flash features. The front camera or selfie camera comes in 2 MP resolution and has a flash. The Moto C Plus comes with an 8 MP primary camera, and includes autofocus as well as LED flash features. The Moto C Plus has a 2 MP secondary or selfie camera, also coming with flash.
Moving towards Affordability
Lenovo has been gradually moving towards offering more affordable phones, from the time of the Moto G, the Moto E and now the Moto C. The latter category to be soon announced is among the most affordable of its smartphones. The display size, as mentioned above, is the same for both the smartphones and only the internal parts are different.
The biggest selling feature of the Moto C and the Moto C Plus is the battery on the smartphones. The Moto C comes with a battery capacity of 2350 mAh, whereas the Moto C Plus has almost double the capacity at 4000 mAh.
