Lenovo P2 will be the newest phone from the Chinese OEM to enter the Indian market and looking at what the phone has to offer, it is indeed a great way for the company to kick off the year 2017.
Lenovo has been busy trying to expand its reach in India with respect to the Android niche. The company took to Twitter to announce that it will be launching a new Lenovo P2 Powerhouse in the populous Asian country. While the post did not include a specific date as to when this will be happening, the tech giant shouldn’t take long before unveiling this phone.
The first time this brand was launched was back at the IFA 2016, but this device only made it to the Chinese market. Now, the new same Lenovo P2 that carries powerful midrange specs that are iced by a massive battery unit, is headed to India very soon. To be more specific, the P2 phablet will come with a roomy 5.5-inch display screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD). Under the hood, the phablet has a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor that is paired with two RAM and storage options. The base model has 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage while the second has a RAM of 4GB and storage of 64GB.
Like many other midrangers that will be coming in during this Q1 2017, the Lenovo P2 will be powered by Android Marshmallow out of the box, but still, support the likes of 4G LTE and NFC. The phablet will not be the best in terms of photography, but for what it’s worth, you still get decent specs. The back has a 13MP snapper while the selfie camera gets a 5MP lens.
Back when it was launched in China, the Lenovo P2 had a market value of about $279 or Rs 19,000. When it crosses over to India, it should be priced around the same region or at least between Rs 15,000 and Rs 20,000.
